Wild Goose Qigong residential courses – summer 2015

This year, there were two residential courses available from the Tse Qigong Centre. These were the Wild Goose Qigong Instructor’s course and the Wild Goose Qigong residential course. Both took place in August 2015 in Shropshire.

Instructors 2015

To attend an instructor’s course, one must have studied with the Tse Qigong Centre for at least three years. The person must have demonstrated a good level of skill in Wild Goose Qigong as well as having shown to be of good character. The instructor’s course is an intensive four days course that includes testing of the theoretical and practical knowledge of the instructor. Each year the standard is higher, so all instructors knowledge develops and goes deeper. Sifu Christine Barbier, from the Hexham class, attended the course as she does every year, to ensure that the level of tuition offered in Hexham is of a high quality. The course is also a good time to catch up with all the other instructors of the Tse Qigong Centre, coming from many places in the UK and abroad, even as far as New Zealand, Canada and USA. Practicing Wild Goose QIgong

The Wild Goose Qigong residential course was an intensive study of the Wild Goose Qigong form, both 1st and 2nd 64 movements. There were people on the course who had never learnt the form as well as people who have been practicing it for many years. Master Tse, who taught, the course split everybody into groups depending on their level, and seamlessly taught everybody so we all learnt and enjoyed the course. Unlike the instructor’s course, this is a very relaxed course with plenty of time of personal practice, rest and socialising. It is like a Qigong holiday, and even though it only lasts 3 days, it always feels that the course has lasted much longer as we are all immerse in the “qigong bubble” and feel really rejuvenated at the end of it.
